Supporting a Loved One Living With Cancer

Supporting a loved one living with cancer Every person’s cancer journey is unique. As a friend or family member, the most important thing you can do is let your loved one know that you will be there for him/her and that you’re are ready to listen whenever your loved one is ready to share his/her feelings.  For some, this may be immediate; for others, it may take more time.

Remember, as a family caregiver or friend, you don’t have to go through this experience alone either. There are a number of support organizations and caring professionals who can help guide and support both patients and those who love them through this experience.  Please talk to your physician, care manager or FCS Financial Counselor.
