Karen Ridley, MSW, LCSW

Behavioral Health Therapist

Karen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker experienced in providing therapy and supportive care to individuals experiencing anxiety and depression, adjustment issues, chronic health concerns, psychological trauma, grief and end of life. She has over 15 years of experience and utilizes a variety of modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused, mindfulness and meditation, and is trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART).

Karen was raised in the Midwest and relocated to Florida in 2006, where she earned her Master of Social Work degree from the University of South Florida. Her clinical experience began in outpatient substance abuse and mental health settings, and she has since worked in home health care, hospice, and private practice settings. She has been credentialed as an advanced certified hospice and palliative care social worker (ACHP-SW) and completed a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher Training in 2010. Karen is also a member of the National Association of Social Workers. She is trained as a First Steps Advance Care Planning Facilitator and can facilitate discussions on advance care planning.

Karen is available to schedule individual, couples and family telehealth behavioral health sessions with Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute patients – Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
