Shekeab Jauhari, MD
After earning his medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, Dr. Jauhari completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pa. He went on to complete his fellowship training in hematology and oncology at Duke University in Durham, N.C.
In his new role as the Associate Director of Drug Development, Dr. Jauhari will lead Phase I clinical trials in the DDU in Lake Mary, Fla., scheduled to open in January 2020.
His numerous academic honors include the Conquer Cancer Foundation Young Investigator Award. During his fellowship at Duke University, he was closely involved in Phase I clinical trials and was a participant in the ASH Clinical Research Training Institute. He is the author of many publications pertinent to hematologic malignancies, including lymphomas and immune-based treatment approaches.
Dr. Jauhari is a Florida native. In his spare time, he enjoys reading non-fiction, traveling, eating well and enjoying time with friends and family, including his daughter, Sofie
