Kunal Saigal, MD
Dr. Kunal Saigal earned his medical degree at the University of Miami, Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine. He then completed an internship in internal medicine at Georgetown University’s Washington Hospital Center in Washington D.C and a residency in radiation oncology at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital. Dr. Saigal was awarded a fellowship in brachytherapy at Beth Israel Medical Center and Roosevelt Hospital in New York, NY.
Prior to joining FCS, Dr. Saigal treated patients at AdventHealth Cancer Institute and served as an assistant professor of radiation oncology at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine. He has a strong passion for research, with interests encompassing brain metastases, prostate cancer and advanced head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
Board-certified in radiation oncology, Dr. Saigal is a member of the American Radium Society, American Brachytherapy Society, American Society for Radiation Oncology and the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin, where he served as president of the University of Miami chapter from 2004 to 2005.
Dr. Saigal is fluent in English and Hindi and conversational in Spanish. He enjoys running, swimming, paddle boarding and weightlifting. He also has a passion for basketball and is an avid NBA fan.
