Dr. Moideen has completed his Medical Degree from University of Calicut, Kerala, India. Dr. Moideen has completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Brookdale University Hospital in Brooklyn, NY and fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at Louisiana State University (LSU) School of Medicine at Shreveport, LA. After completing his fellowship, Dr. Moideen has worked in various prestigious organizations including Dalhousie University School of Medicine, prior to joining Florida Cancer Specialists.

Dr. Moideen has special interest in lung cancer, colon cancer and breast cancer and has been very active in clinical research in these cancers. While Dr. Moideen was completing his fellowship at LSU, he has conducted clinical research in breast cancer and presented his findings at the International breast cancer conference in San Antonio. While Dr. Moideen was working at Dalhousie University School of Medicine, he was actively involved in conducting clinical research and has served as the local principal investigator in an International clinical trial in breast cancer named NCIC-MAC7. Dr. Moideen’s research findings have been published in various journals including American Journal of Clinical Pathology, Oncology Times, American Society of Clinical Oncology Abstracts and Journal of Louisiana Medical Society.
