Adetokunbo “Dr. Toks” Oluwasanjo, MD joined Florida Cancer Specialists (FCS) in November 2019. She earned her medical degree from the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan in Ibadan, Nigeria, where she received a National Merit award for academic excellence. She went on to complete internal medicine internships at Duro Soleye Hospital in Ikeja, Lagos State, Nigeria and at the University College Hospital, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.

After completing her residency in internal medicine at the Reading Health System in Reading, Pa., Dr. Toks completed a fellowship in medical oncology/hematology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pa.

Her interests include innovative therapeutics and clinical research in oncology with a special focus on breast cancer and hematologic malignancies. She is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and a frequent contributing blogger on various oncology topics.

Dr. Toks is passionate about improving clinical outcomes through quality improvement processes and effective patient-provider communication. Her volunteer activities have included service to Motherless Babies Home in Ibadan, Nigeria and Berks Women in Crisis in Reading, Pa.

Her hobbies include writing, reading and creative arts.
