Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute Welcomes New Physician and New Location in Fort Myers

Dr. Raymond Esper to Join Nation’s Largest Independent Oncology Group

 

Fort Myers, FL – July 11, 2016……… Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS), the leading community oncology/hematology practice in the state, is pleased to announce that Raymond Esper, MD, PhD, has joined the practice and is seeing patients at two FCS locations in Southwest Florida. Dr. Esper will practice at the Cape Coral Cay West office, located at 1708 Cape Coral Pkwy West, Suite 10, Cape Coral, FL, and at the new, state-of-the-art Gladiolus office, located at 8260 Gladiolus Drive in Fort Myers, FL.

Dr. Raymond Esper began his medical career while serving in the United States Army in Fort Sam Houston, TX, where he worked as a Medical Laboratory Technician in the Army’s Academy of Health Sciences. In addition to his medical degree, he holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI, where he also completed a Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship at the Department of Neurology and Center for Molecular Medicine. Dr. Esper completed his Fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI, which is focused on developing both cutting-edge researchers and astute clinicians and has established a reputation as one of the leading oncology fellowship programs in the nation. Prior to joining Florida Cancer Specialists, Dr. Esper was a Physician Clinical Lecturer in Hematology/Oncology at the University of Michigan.
