Patient Education

Sometimes our biggest challenges in life come from fear of the unknown. When it comes to chemotherapy, we believe that well-informed patients are more positive and less apprehensive.

We provide pre-treatment patient education classes to accomplish
three goals:
  1. To give you practical information to ensure smooth and comfortable treatment sessions.
  2. To teach you about typical side effects and prepare you to deal
    with them.
  3. To help you know when your symptoms are typical side effects and when you should seek immediate medical attention.
We provide information about how to handle ongoing questions, what to bring with you to treatments, and who to contact in an emergency. This 45-minute educational session is a significant benefit to you and your family.
